blizzards in March

Oh how I love blizzards in March, especially when I see photos of people starting to garden, or sweet green shoots peeking out from beautiful dirt. This is the knee deep snow that met me on my way to work on Friday; not to mention the snow that was blasted onto my face by hurricane force winds and onto the front of the building where I work. And no, I am not exaggerating when I say hurricane force winds (we had gusts from 80-100 miles per hour). However bad the weather might be, nothing ever shuts down here (oh okay...well last year part of a roof went blowing down our main street and it was decided then that people could go home). And today...well it was almost the same, but luckily I can be at home with my boys.

yes it's funny about what your conditioned to.
Over here our extremes are the oposite to you, if the temp is over 48cel. you can go home, it's like traintrack meltingly hot.
Our neighbours son aged 21 was over in Canada at the start of this year, and got lock out of the home he was staying at, so decided to wait for his friend to come home on the front step, and he died from the cold.
Tragic.
I can't imagine your cold.
