from autumn to winter

Jonas and I gathered leaves, on what was to be one of the last autumn like, beautiful days of the year. We came home and Eoghan helped us dip them into beeswax. Now they hang on a garland in our dining room, and they smell so good.

 The end of a walk.

 During the first real snow of the year, Jonas and Eoghan had to go out and catch some, 

even though it was quite late. That is pure joy on their faces.

I know this looks dangerous, and I was quite taken aback when I came upon this, but I had to act like I was not too freaked out, as he then would want to continue to attach plastic knives to the rest of his body. I watched him very closely the whole time he had them on.
