a week to make a peculiar rainbow: red

Red and yellow and pink and green,
purple and orange and blue.
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.

Listen with your eyes,
listen with your eyes,
and sing everything you see.

I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing along with me.

Red and yellow and pink and green,
purple and orange and blue.
I can sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow,
sing a rainbow too.

I love this song. I have been singing it ever since I was in kindergarten. Eoghan likes to sing it now, and Jonas just tries to sing whenever we do. I realize that the song substitutes pink for indigo and purple for violet, but I like that it is peculiar in that way. We have been missing, seeing rainbows around here lately. It is surprising, as we usually have quite a bit more rain, with the sun peeking out every now and again. So I think a week in peculiar rainbows is in order, starting today!
