I first started this blog so that it would seem to our family, who is spread EVERYWHERE, as if they were here with us, sharing the small joys in our everyday life. I found in the past that I got very behind in sending out pictures to everyone, besides the fact that it took a good deal of money to do so. But through this blog there are none of those worries, I know that everyone can "be with us", in a small way.
It has turned out however, that this blog has meant much more to me than that. I have a "journal" to look back on (and hopefully my boys will as well). I have rediscovered the joy that I once took in art and in writing. I joined a great group (Craft Hope) for the best cause out there: our children on this earth. And, I have met very sweet people along the way. I was worried at first to put us "out there", for fear of negativity, but the exact opposite happened, although I often do still feel I am on guard (maybe that is just how mamas are, and always will be).
So, to spread some more love and to celebrate my 100th post (yesterday) and my first blog-iversary (tomorrow)...I would like to give away some very special babies. Just leave a comment (along with your favorite color) on this post by the end of Sunday the 26th (we will be off adventuring until then). I will draw two names to be the recipients of some sweetness. Congratulations!! I'm so glad blogging has turned into such a positive thing for you and the boys. I was surprised myself when it became more than just sharing pics with friends and family, and it's been awesome. Happy bloggiversary! May you celebrate more in the years to come!

My favorite colour is probably indigo blue, or then some very earth tone orange/okra.
I´ve noticed also that the seasons of year makes me like diffrent colours. Late winter my soul screams for green and autumn i need warm oranges and yellows.

I have been away for awhile- so nice to be back! I love your rainbow posts. My favorite colour is always changing, but today it is the pinkish-orange of the poppies that are blooming in the garden.
