Here is a very nice bat. I wasn't able to get a picture of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. We did however watch the original movie the night before Halloween. It was obviously scary for some people, as all four of us ended up on one couch by the time the movie came to an end.

Jonas and I went to watch a short concert put on by the morning music kids, before the start of school. It was lovely to hear all those kids singing and playing. Eoghan is on Bass.

swimmin' today

J's first swimming lessons. He was so excited. I asked if he was going, swimmin' swimmin' with the bare naked women; and he says, "Mama don't say that!"

 Mittens has never been this relaxed around Luna. Catnip is the key.

 

Our neighbor let us know late one night, that there was a bear up their tree. Oh so fat!

 The dragon. Thank goodness St. Michael and all his knights were there to protect us. It is the boys' next to favorite celebration at church.

Luna last night in her first snowfall, our trees in the beautiful morning sun, Jonas attempting the first snowman of the season, and Eoghan being a bit crazy on a big snowball.

Jonas' first day being outside again after being ill for almost a week. I couldn't deny him playing in our first bit of snow.

pirate or knight?



He fashioned a pair of swords out of tinker toys, and so I asked if he was a pirate or a knight.

 



 I knight thee Sir Wind (that is the name he wanted), noble Knight of ...

 

 I knighted his papa as well when he came home during the day, but he wasn't quite as happy as Jonnie was. He played knight for the rest of the afternoon, many a dragon were slayed. Poor dragons!
